We believe that a child is not a vase to be filled, but a fire to be lit. So at Sattva, we provide the right conducive environment where the child is motivated towards "Self learning". The journey towards attaining knowledge becomes simpler if the child is willing to learn readily. We not only impart knowledge but also awaken their interest in it and make the children pursue it for themselves.

Scientifically proven methodology
"To err is human" and children are bound to make mistakes. At Sattva, we follow the scientifically proven methodology that if children are able to rectify their mistakes themselves, it enables them to learn better and repeated correction (by erasing and re-writing) helps to register facts in their permanent memory. So our children use pencils for writing, facilitating erasure & correction of their errors, resulting in life long retention of concepts learnt.

Value based education (education of head and the heart)
Values enrich an individual’s personality just like the fragrance makes a flower more attractive. The five basic human values- good conduct, righteousness (physical), truth (intellectual), peace (emotional), love (physical), and non-violence (spiritual) are universal and unchangeable.

We at Sattva believe that a holistic approach towards the child’s development is the secret behind a successful SATTVASHALI human being. We also believe that character building and education go hand in hand. The teachers lay an emphasis on this aspect while selecting the topics and teaching. These values are further strengthened with the use of audio-visual aids and visits to places which make the children more compassionate towards the under privileged.
