Sattva Vikas helps children become adults who are led neither by peer pressures nor by common sentiments, but by the strength of their own thinking.

We begin by building a foundation:
Language Arts (reading, composition, and grammar), Math, Science and Logic are the core disciplines. They are the key to unlocking information in all the subjects. The degree of mastery in these four disciplines determines a student’s ability to master the higher disciplines effectively.

As we strengthen the foundation, higher and stronger structures become possible.

We teach subject content to give students facts and concepts, but as we teach content, we teach method—logic and thinking skills. Students learn to evaluate, question, and search for connections. Finding and understanding the connections between concepts is what enables students to retain and then apply and extend their knowledge. They learn to find connections by doing things in logical sequence—that is how they learn to recognize logical progression.

Learning that progress is determined by effort, a students realize that their success is in their control and is their responsibility. As they learn and apply this idea, they begin to understand and enjoy the strength of their own mind. As they learn to respect their own capacity and gain confidence, they also learn to appreciate and respect the same in others.

Sattva Vikas students learn about freedom, and value each person’s fundamental rights.

They learn to respect themselves and others as individuals and do not misuse the property of others.

Start Early and Start Right
We introduce a subject during the appropriate window of opportunity—the time when the corresponding areas of the brain are developing connections. This results in making most of these intense periods of brain development—when the mind is naturally predisposed to learn that subject. They also learn to find pleasure in every little thing that is learnt.

We teach children that learning is fun, and that success comes only after effort—in any subject and in life. We help them to develop the confidence to approach any challenge with the attitude: "I can do this if I work at it".

The learning patterns established in the very early years of a child’s life greatly affect the outcome of that child's education and stimulates creativity and establishes thinking and social skills that are necessary to future success.

Moving with the times and making the optimum use of the innovations and inventions, we have a specially designed software, "WIRED SWASTIK" which is student friendly and helps them to be precise and quick in their response. Our students have access to the online databank and updated information from the websites, which further expands their spectrum of knowledge.

To strengthen the concepts and inculcate clarity of thought ‘E Test’ plays a phenomenal role. ‘E Test’ is a set of multiple choice questions which children view on the computer screen on their desks. ‘E Test’ is a great stimulant which initiates versatile and dynamic responses on the part of the pupil. The main focus lies in retrieval and analysis of learnt concepts resulting in quick and correct responses in stipulated time.

The software also generates immediate competency wise report. This report enables our students to know which competencies they still need to master. The data bank can be used to generate a number of E-tests time and again.

Sattva Vikas boasts of an aesthetically designed, techno-loaded ‘state of the art’ Dramatics Lab which provides the students, an opportunity to develop not only their oratory skills but also facilitates the development of multifaceted personality.

The Sattva students enact topics related to their academics and also improvise their self-scripted materials, which in itself is a great moral booster and also adds to their sense of achievement and self esteem.

The students perform freely and spontaneously on the stage and the camera and the pull down projector screen enable them to judge as well as instantly improvise on their performance.

The heat generated by the high quanta of energy and pulsating performance is cooled down by an effective centralized cooling system in the lab.

Besides this children also view choicest Educational CDs related to varied subjects like Science, Math, English etc. followed by an interactive session and also utilize the lab for PowerPoint presentations. Our Junior students view Fairy-Tales and Cartoon CDs to fire their imagination. Frequent oral reports on subjects such as current events and science give them more eloquence, in public speaking. Moreover, dynamic use of theatre enlivens lessons in history and literature.

Our library is well equipped with a wealth of interesting, informative and interactive books. It is so well designed with its hue of colour that the moment a children step into it, they are transformed into the mystical world of books which evolves an interest and love for reading.

The library with its ideal ambience exposes Sattvites to a wide range of literary themes and techniques. It helps them to explore the wondrous world of books which strengthens their phonetic foundation and also enriches their vocabulary, leading to success in purposeful and functional writing. It enables the children achieve mastery in creative writing and logical skills through innovative and comprehensive hard sheets which interweave the reading activity with the academics.

Each time a book is read, a seed is sown in the mind. Each book contains several life situations. Each Sattvite will be armed with at least 600 life situations to face the challenges as he/she ventures out into the next phase of life.
